- We have received the CEOE Valladolid 2021 Award for Sustainable Management.
- This award recognises efforts to maintain and create employment, generate prosperity and contribute to the sustainable development of Valladolid.
- The award will be presented at the ‘La noche de las empresas’ gala to be held on 31 May in Valladolid.
- Javier A. Vázquez Sánchez, president of ABN, will collect the award along with other representatives of the company: Rosa A. Campo Arnaiz, head of quality, environment and sustainability; Sara Lagüens, from the prevention department; David Rosa, factory manager; and Santiago Lorenzo, assistant manager of the Medina del Campo plant.
The award recognises our commitment in recent years to the circular economy through:
- Joining platforms that promote a sustainable use of resources in order to receive guidelines and examples for our future development, such as the United Nations Global Compact, the Spanish Government’s Pact for a Circular Economy; and initiatives such as the Ministry for Ecological Transition’s Carbon Footprint register, the More initiative ‘Mobilised for Recycling’, ‘Operation Clean Sweep’, among others.
- The incorporation of seals that accredit the level of sustainability of all our products, such as Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) or the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) seal.
- Our commitment to sustainable manufacturing and the development of new solutions has earned us important awards and recognitions such as the UVA Research Award, the Madrid Subterra Award, the BASF Circular Economy Award and the Innovative SME seal.
Now, in addition to all this recognition, we have received this award from the Valladolid Confederation of Employers, which highlights our efforts towards sustainable management in all our manufacturing processes.
